TK is a dynamic Afrosoul/Jazz fusion artist who seamlessly blends the rich melodies of Gospel, RnB, and Afrobeats into a captivating musical experience. Hailing from Nigeria, TK’s deep connection to rhythm and vocal prowess shines through as he effortlessly sings and plays the drums simultaneously. Joining him on stage are four incredible musicians namely, Alvin Mwanicky on Guitar, Daniel Sarmiento on Bass, Grady Hewlett on Keys, and Rowan Farintosh on the Saxophone. The band's collective sound derives inspiration from the soul-stirring melodies of neo-soul, the infectious rhythms in modern Hip Hop and Afrobeats, and the uplifting energy of Jazz; an amalgamation of sister genres of music from all over the world that creates a smooth, silky, and groovy experience for the listeners. This artist has rocked intimate stages like Sofar Sounds Vancouver, VEC, Capital Ballroom, and Bully Studios to list a few. Also frequently created musical experiences that left audiences dancing during summer festivals like the Eventide music series, Fernfest, Sunshine Music Festival, and many more. TK recently released a dual single titled ‘Strawberry Bounce’ in collaboration with producers/musicians, Alvin Mwanicky and Jayden Brown. Strawberry Bounce has been featured on CBC Radio's It's Vibin' and Vancouver's Co-op Radio's Urban Renewal project. In 2024, he’ll be releasing his first full-length project titled, ‘A Journey Under the Stars’.
